The family travelled on to the wedding and remained out of town until the matter could be resolved, on the advice of the police. Attempts were made by police to speak with the person, but they were not cooperative. The police Emergency Response Team was ultimately activated. The incident was investigated under the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, Subsection 45.72(2).
